Dean S. Bennett received his undergraduate degree (B.S., Summa Cum Laude) from Brigham Young University, and received his law degree (J.D., Cum Laude) from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School.  While in law school, Dean was a member of BYU's Moot Court Team.

Dean is admitted to practice in Nevada (1997) and Arizona (2005).  He was a litigation associate with the Las Vegas firm of Hutchison and Steffen.  For over 20 years he practiced real estate and transactional law with the Las Vegas firm of Holley Driggs, where he was a shareholder with the firm.  In 2015, Dean became general counsel for MRG Marketing & Management, Inc., the then-franchisee for Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers™ in Nevada and Arizona.  Dean continues to serve as general counsel for Kairoc USA.  

Dean prides himself on being accessible and responsive to clients, and in helping be part of the solution in bringing a deal to fruition.

Dean enjoys volunteering for worthy charitable causes, including the Arthritis Foundation, Goodie Two Shoes, Three Square, and Las Vegas Rescue Mission.

Over two-plus decades, Dean has worked on a wide variety of real estate transactions through the Las Vegas valley, the state of Nevada, and the southwest United States.    The value represented in these transactions is in the billions of dollars.

Dean has extensive experience with commercial real estate leasing, purchase and sale transactions, commercial financing transactions, creation of commercial and residential associations and planned communities, and related matters. 

In addition to these transactions, Dean has helped individuals purchase and sell homes and commercial properties.  

Representative matters:

Negotiation and drafting of all commercial leases and related documents for highly successful QSR franchisee in Arizona and Nevada

Representation of national homebuilder in purchase, sale, and development of various Nevada properties

Representation of regional homebuilder in creation of various homeowners' associations for residential, town home and other communities

Corporate and Business Law

Dean also has extensive experience in corporate and business matters, including in creating and managing corporate entities, limited liabilities, partnerships, and other business entities.  

Dean has also represented a number of clients in business acquisitions and other similar transactions.

Representation of homebuilder client in acquisition of competing homebuilder entity,


Representation of homebuilder client in negotiating and creating joint venture for the development of large multi-use residential community.

Representation of QSR client with regard to all corporate matters, and with regard to all operations agreements and franchise agreements.

Representation of client in multi-unit sale of business locations in multiple states.

Representation of client in creation of multi-party limited liability company agreement for the ownership and operation of luxury sports suite.

General Counsel

An experienced and trusted legal counselor adds value to decision-makers in a number of ways.  Key among these is the opportunity to help identify and avoid potential problems before they arise.   

Dean has served in as in house counsel for a number of years.  Dean has also provided general counsel type services as outside counsel for a number of businesses and individuals.
